ギアナとアマゾン川流域に分布。
(1)亜種 Campylopterus largipennis obscurus Gould, 1848
Range: eastern Colombia south to northern Bolivia and east, mostly south of the Amazon, to eastern Amazonian Brazil (eastern Para and Maranhao).
コロンビア東部からボリビア北部、アマゾン南部、ブラジル・アマゾン東部に分布。
