Range: Amazonian Andes, in humid lowland forests in the northwestern, southwestern, and south-central Amazon Basin in South America.
アンデスのアマゾン流域に分布。

(1)亜種 Pyrilia barrabandi aurantiigena Gyldenstolpe, 1951
Range: E Ecuador to e Peru, n Bolivia and Brazil south of the Amazon.
エクアドル東部からペルー東部、ボリビア北部とブラジルのアマゾン南部に分布。

2019年09月21日、ペルーのタンボブランキーロ(Tambo Blanquillo)付近のクレイリックで撮影。
