Range: Trinidad, Tobago, Grenada and Saint Vincent, and in tropical South America from Panama, Colombia and the Guianas south to Ecuador, Peru and Brazil; in Brazil, the entire Amazon Basin, excluding much of the southeastern Basin.
トリニダード・トバゴ等と、パナマ、コロンビア、ギアナからエクアドル、ペルー、ブラジルの熱帯地域に分布。
(0)基亜種 Chaetura brachyura brachyura (Jardine, 1846)
Range: Panama to the Guianas, Trinidad, w-c Brazil and n Bolivia.
パナマからギアナ、トリニダード、ブラジル西部と中部、ボリビア北部に分布。
〇2019年09月20日、ペルーのタンボブランキーロ(Tambo Blanquillo)付近で観察。
