Range: Argentina, Chile, the Falkland Islands and Paraguay as well as Andean regions of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
アルゼンチン、チリ、フォークランド諸島、パラグアイとアンデス地域のボリビア、コロンビア、エクアドル、ペルーに分布する。
(1)亜種 Podiceps occipitalis juninensis von Berlepsch & Stolzmann, 1894
Range: Locally in Andes of Colombia to n Chile and Argentina.
コロンビアからチリ北部とアルゼンチンのアンデス地域の一部に分布。
