タイランチョウ科 Tyrannidae
Range: Costa Rica through Colombia and northern Venezuela to northern Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru. It also occurs on Trinidad.
コスタリカからコロンビア、ベネゼラ北部からボリビア北部、エクアドル、ペルーに分布。トリニダードでも見られることがある。

(1)亜種 Leptopogon superciliaris transandinus Berlepsch & Taczanowski, 1884
Range: montane regions from Costa Rica to Venezuela (including the coastal ranges), and south through the Andes to south central Peru (Ayacucho).
コスタリカからベネゼラとペルー中部のアンデスまでの山岳地域に分布。

〇2016年01月05日、コスタリカ・チリポ山登山口で観察。
