Range: central Mexico in the east, the Sierra Madre Orientals, to northern Panama.
メキシコ中部からパナマ北部にかけて分布。

(1)亜種 Lepidocolaptes affinis neglectus (Ridgway, 1909)
Range: Mts. of Costa Rica and w Panama (Chiriqui highlands).
コスタリカとパナマ西部の山地に分布。
