サンショウクイ科 Campephagidae
Range: New Guinea and the Bismarck Archipelago, along much of the tropical and sub-tropical coastal hinterland of eastern Australia, from about the Sydney area to the tip of Cape York Peninsula, in the moister part of the Kimberley, and throughout the Top End.
ニューギニア南部とオーストラリア北部と東部に分布。

(1)亜種 Lalage leucomela yorki Mathews, 1912
Range: N Queensland (islands in s Torres Strait and Cape York Pen.).
クイーンズランド北部に分布する。

2014年10月20日、オーストラリア・ケアンズのセンティナリーレイク(Centenary Lakes)で撮影。綺麗な声で鳴くようですが、鳴き声は聞けませんでした。

2014年10月23日、オーストラリア・ケアンズ近郊のバリン湖(Lake Barrine)で撮影。
