中国東部から台湾、東南アジア、インドに分布し、一部は南方で越冬する。

Range: Taiwan.
台湾に分布する。

(2)亜種 Dicrurus macrocercus cathoecus Swinhoe, 1871
Range: breeds central and eastern China, Myanmar, northern Thailand, and northen Indochina; northern populations migrate south to southeastern China, Indochina, the Thai-Malay Peninsula, northwestern Borneo, and Sumatra.
中国中部と東部、ミャンマー、タイ北部、インドシナ北部で繁殖し、北部のものは中国南東部、インドシナ、タイ-マレー半島、ボルネオ北西部、スマトラで越冬する。
2017年01月26日、タイ・チェンマイ近郊で撮影。留まる時は尾羽を広げます。
