東アジア（日本、朝鮮半島南部、インドネシア、フィリピン）に分布する。
英名変更、メジロ(simplex) Zosterops simplex を分離(2019)。

Range: southern Sakhalin Island, Japan, and the southern Korean Peninsula; partially migratory, withdrawing from Sakhalin Island and northern Japan in the nonbreeding season.
サハリン南部、日本、朝鮮半島南部に分布する。
