Range: Costa Rica south to southern Ecuador, central Bolivia and the highlands of northwestern Venezuela.
コスタリカからエクアドル南部、ボリビア中部とベネゼラ北西部の高地に分布。
(0)基亜種 Spinus xanthogastrus xanthogastrus (Du Bus, 1855)
Range: Local in mts. of Costa Rica to Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
コスタリカからコロンビア、エクアドル、ベネゼラの山地に部分的に分布。
