Range: central Mexico to northern Ecuador and north-western Venezuela, and also on the Greater Antilles and nearby islands (e.g. the Cayman Islands and Jamaica).
メキシコ中部からエクアドル北部とベネゼラ北西部、大アンチレス諸島と周辺諸島に分布する。

(1)亜種 Tiaris olivaceus pusillus Swainson, 1827
Range: Gulf lowlands of e Mexico to Colombia and w Venezuela.
メキシコ東部の湾岸低地からコロンビアとベネゼラ西部に分布。
