Range: highlands from central Mexico south to Bolivia and northwest Argentina.
メキシコ中部からボリビアとアルゼンチン北西部の高地に分布。
(1)亜種 Chlorospingus flavopectus regionalis Bangs, 1906
Range: subtropical Nicaragua south through Costa Rica to western Panama (west of the summit of Volcan Baru).
ニカラガ、コスタリカからパナマ西部の亜熱帯地域に分布。
〇2016年01月03日、コスタリカ・サン_ヘラルド_デ_ドタで観察。

(2)亜種 Chlorospingus flavopectus peruvianus Carriker, 1933
Range: east slope of the Andes of southern Peru (eastern Cuzco to Puno).
ペルー南部のアンデス東斜面に分布。
○2019年09月16日、ペルーのマヌー道路上部で観察。
